Makes 4-6 servings
½ lb fresh green beans, trimmed
1/8 Cup Maui onion, peeled and diced
1/8 Cup red bell pepper, seeded and diced
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
Salt & pepper to taste
Steam green beans, onion and red bell pepper until crisp-tender.
Combine balsamic, olive oil, vanilla paste and salt & pepper until incorporated.
Toss all ingredients together, arrange and serve.
