Dania Novack-Katz, Publisher
Dania fell in love with edible Hawaiian Islands years ago, and in 2007 joined the team as Director of Advertising. In the summer of 2013, an opportunity to publish the magazine arose, and she happily stepped up as publisher. She continues her love affair with sharing the stories of the people and places that are directly connected to our food sources in Hawai‘i. Dania has been a proud Hawai‘i resident since 1988, and resides in Maui along with her two teenagers, Noah & Lily.

Shelly Ronen, Director of Advertising
Mother, wife, and local business advocate, Shelly is passionate about sharing the importance of growing locally and buying locally sourced to lessen our need for imported goods. She believes there is nothing more important than knowing where the food you feed your family comes from. This is why she supports others that are making this happen.
Allyson Durkin, Hawaii Island Representative
Allyson is an ardent supporter of all things culinary, the arts, and hospitality. An admirer of the edible Hawaiian Islands for a long time, she values the ideals of promoting sustainability, supporting our farms and ranches, buying and sourcing local foods, and scratch cooking. Drawing inspiration from her family recipes, cookbook collection, and the amazing culinary talent abundant in Hawai’i, Allyson enjoys creating in the kitchen and feeding her husband and two teenage daughters.

Gabe is a designer, developer and owner of Glopilot Web Design on Maui. He is an enthusiastic supporter of local food sources, sustainability, creativity and loves hearing the stories behind where our food comes from.
